Soup Preparation Tips
The basis of the diet of cabbage soup is to make a big pot of soup at the beginning of the week. The basic idea of the soup is that certain foods are eaten all week and you can eat as much broth if needed.
There are two ways to make soup & serve in a Soup Bowls. The first method involves cooking on the stove in a large pot and simmer for a couple of hours. The second method is easier and involves simply placing all the ingredients in a slow cooker and soup inside all day. Note that the soup will probably have to be prepared several times during the week.
Try variations of the soup all week, adding flavorings such as garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and the like. Play with it to determine the best flavor that is right for you.
Does the diet really work?
The diet works, but should be used with caution. This diet is not intended for long term use. It ‘important to follow the diet precisely eating additional fruits, vegetables and potatoes that are allowed for the entire week.
Most people who take advantage of the weight loss and cleansing diet aspects of starting an exercise routine with the hope that they can be conditioned and fit to continue working after the diet is complete.
Things to consider all the Diet
It is important to follow the diet exactly to the diet to work properly. As with any diet, drink at least four glasses 16 oz of water a day. This will ensure you are getting the recommended daily amount of 64 ounces a day. The diet only lasts seven days and should not be followed along. Some people go every three weeks diet after diet seven days a week, to go off the diet for 2 weeks and then back into the diet again.
